Corcovado National Park – Sirena (Daytrip)

Corcovado is the most pristine national park in Costa Rica. A place of the most biodiversity on earth. 

Sirena Station is the «heart» of the park, far away from any civilisation. An adventure hike with our

experienced guides through the rainforest of the Osa Peninsula awaits you. 

The tour starts at 6am and you will reach Sirena beach after a beautiful 1-hour boat ride along the coast. 

Your tour guide will take you on a 4.5 hour hike, including a short break and snacks along the way. 

You will experience unique wildlife in the wild and breathtaking flora. 

There is the possibility to see the 4 monkey species (howler monkey, spider monkey, capuchin monkey, squirrel monkey), as well as coati, peacock, agouti, sloth, anteater, crocodile, to name a few. 

Sirena is also known for the sighting of Baird’s tapirs. 

If you are lucky, you may also see the white-lipped peccary or a puma. These are all endangered


On the way back to Drake Bay, there is always a chance of finding humpback whales or dolphins.

You will return from this adventure around 2:30pm. 

On your return, a costarrisence typical lunch awaits you at a restaurant in Drake Bay!
